» Norcross 21, Brookwood 0: With the Region 7 title in the high class on the line, the No. 5-ranked Norcross Blue Devils let their defense carry them to a 21-0 home win over the No. 9 Brookwood Broncos on Friday.

The win gives the Blue Devils (9-0, 5-0 Region 7) their first region championship since 2013, which is the last year they won a state title. They’re guaranteed to host the first two rounds of the state playoffs, which begin Nov. 11. The Broncos (6-3, 4-1) have locked up the No. 2 seed ahead of Parkview and Central Gwinnett and will host in the first round.
