For more than 30 years, the AJC Super 11 lists the top high school football players in the state of Georgia. This year's lists includes three defensive tackles, a quarterback and a running back. For the first time in 31 years, no players from Middle Georgia make the list.

The AJC Super 11 is here. This year's images feature the state's top players dramatically posed in clouds of powder. The concept was executed by multimedia photojournalist Curtis Compton and shot with a Canon EOS-ID X camera, a 24-70MM f 2.8 lens at f/13, a shutter speed of 1/250 second and an ISO of 200. It was messy, but as one Super 11 players commented “this is the craziest thing I have ever done in my life!” | AJC Super 11 facts & figures
