Marietta Wheeler pushed past Canton Cherokee for a 35-21 win at Marietta Wheeler High on October 7 in Georgia football action.

Neither team dominated early as the two squads struggled evenly to a 7-7 tie through the first quarter.

An intermission tie at 14-14 allowed for a respite as both teams looked to regroup in the locker room.

Marietta Wheeler darted to a 28-14 bulge over Canton Cherokee as the fourth quarter began.

The Wildcats and the Warriors each scored in the final quarter.
