The Philadelphia Phillies selected Cornelius Randolph (6-1, 190) 10th overall in the 2015 MLB Draft in Secaucus, N.J.

Randolph, a shortstop from Griffin High School, hit .528 and had a 1.568 OPS to go along with four home runs, 18 RBI, 18 stolen bases and six errors in his 17-game senior season.

He’s the No. 3 draft prospect in Georgia, according to Baseball America. His short, compact swing allows him to hit to all fields.

Randolph will most likely transition to third base or the outfield in the minors.

He’s committed to Clemson.
