Walton coach Christy Page felt pretty good when the match to decide the Class AAAAAA championship came down to No. 3 singles player Johanna Keeline.

Keeline won the first game 6-0 and battled back from a 3-0 deficit to win the second game 7-5 and give Walton the state championship for the 11th time in 13 years with a 3-2 victory over Peachtree Ridge.

“She’s someone I knew would come up big,” Page said. “She’s so mentally strong and so consistent. She’s the one you want in that situation.”

Walton got doubles wins from Katie Riley and Jessica Cramer at No. 1 and Sophia Guldberg and Erica Bauer at No. 2. Peachtree Ridge got singles wins from Abby Owens and Jena Kelly.

Class AAAAAA boys: Brookwood won its seventh state championship with a 3-0 victory over North Cobb. The Broncos got wins from the doubles teams of Matt Jones and William McWhirt and Ryan Pridgeon and Daniel Drake.

Class AAAAA girls: No. 3 singles player Anneliese Leahy won the deciding game to help Lakeside-Evans prevail 3-2 over Starr's Mill.

Class AAAAA boys: Frank Rogers scored a 6-1, 6-0 victory to pace Starr's Mill to a 3-0 win over Union Grove.

Class AAAA girls: Marist overpowered LaGrange 3-0 to win its fourth title in five years.

Class AAAA boys: Parker Bray's 1-6, 6-1, 6-4 win gave Columbus a 3-1 victory over Madison County on coach Betsy Zachary's birthday.

Class AAA girls: Kourtney Keegan, who has committed to Florida, led Blessed Trinity to a 3-0 win over Woodward Academy to win its fifth consecutive.

Class AAA girls: Blessed Trinity scored a 3-1 decision over St. Pius. The No. 2 doubles team of Zandy Rizzo and John Vermillion won the decisive match.

Class AA girls: Westminster secured a 3-1 win over rival Lovett when Kay Crawford and Maddie Hutchins nailed down their 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 decision.

Class AA boys: Westminster won both doubles matches and got a victory from Stephen Solms at No. 2 singles in a 3-0 win over Wesleyan.

Class A-Public girls: Baconton beat Irwin County 3-1 to win the first championship in school history. The three singles players — Abby Anglin, Sierra Davis and Allisa McCook, finished the season unbeaten.

Class A-Public boys: Marion County defeated Irwin County 3-1 to win the school's first tennis championship. Grey Wells, Daniel Peacock and Bense Medders each won their matches 6-0, 6-0.

Class A-Private girls: No. 3 singles player Mia Pattillo won the deciding match to give Walker a 3-2 victory over Mt. Pisgah. Freshman Audrey Cunningham and sophomore Leigh Norsworthy scored an upset at No. 1 singles.

Class A-Private boys: Walker beat First Presbyterian 3-1. No. 2 singles Alan Norsworthy lost the first set, but came back to win the last two and secure the 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory.
