Camden County is the new No. 1 team in Class AAAAA after a weekend that brought down three ranked teams in the highest classification, including previous No. 1 McEachern.

Camden County and Grayson, both 6-0 and nationally ranked in several polls, moved up one position to fill the top two spots.

Hillgrove, which knocked off McEachern 12-10, jumped to No. 3 from No. 9. McEachern fell to No. 7.

Norcross fell from the AAAAA rankings after a 29-22 loss to No. 8 North Gwinnett. Lowndes fell five spots to No. 10 after losing to new No. 9 Valdosta 21-17.

Others falling out of the rankings were Lambert (AAAA), Peach County (AAA) and Emanuel County Institute (A). Newly ranked are Heritage-Conyers (AAAA), Cairo (AAA) and Holy Innocents’ (A).
