Jamal Patterson, WR, Henry County: Had 933 yards and 11 touchdowns on 44 receptions last season. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds. Considered among the top 15 wide receivers nationally by one recruiting service. He stands above many because of his long arms, leaping ability and physicality.

Washaun Ealey, RB, Emanuel County Institute:

Greg Reid, CB, Lowndes: Had 62 tackles and seven interceptions last season. Offensively, he rushed for 960 yards and 15 touchdowns on 120 carries (8 yards per carry). All-state in Class AAAAA as a junior and sophomore. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds. Considered among the top 15 athletes nationally by two recruiting services.

Jonathan Davis, LB, Tucker: Had 103 tackles and 10 tackles for losses last season. Ran for 942 yards and 12 touchdowns on 110 carries (8.6 yards per carry) when on offense. Class AAAA all-state as a junior. Bench presses 375 pounds, squats 550. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.37 seconds. Considered among the top 10 linebackers nationally by one recruiting service.

Johnnie Farms, OL, Perry: Had 60 knockdown blocks and was Class AAA all-state last season. Bench presses 395 pounds, squats 600. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.98 seconds. Considered among the top 10 offensive guards nationally by two recruiting services. Noted for his brute strength and energy.

Eric Fields, LB, Northside-Warner Robins: Had 93 tackles and seven sacks and was honorable mention all-state in Class AAAA last season. Bench presses 305 pounds. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.49 seconds. Considered among the top 10 linebackers nationally by two recruiting services. Noted for his explosive quickness and physicality.

Jarvis Jones, LB, Carver-Columbus: Had 157 tackles, 17 tackles for losses and returned three fumbles for touchdowns last season. All-state in Class AAA as a junior. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds. Considered among the top five outside linebackers nationally by several recruiting services. Strengths include his great burst and relentlessness.

Darren Myles Jr., S, Carver (Atl.): Had 60 tackles, 15 pass break-ups and six interceptions last season. Offensively, he combined for 630 yards and 13 touchdowns, running and receiving. All-state in Class AAA as a junior. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.42 seconds. Considered among the top 10 safeties nationally by two recruiting services.

Branden Smith, CB, Washington (Atl.): Had 48 tackles and four interceptions last season. Offensively, he had nine receptions for touchdowns and returned four kickoffs for touchdowns and scored two more on punt returns. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds. Considered among the top 10 cornerbacks nationally by two recruiting services.

Chris Burnette, OL, Troup: Graded 90 percent with 39 pancake blocks last season. Bench presses 315 pounds, squats 500. Runs 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds. Considered among the top five offensive guards nationally by several recruiting services. Noted for his aggressiveness, nimble feet and leg strength.

Abry Jones, DE, Northside-Warner Robins: Had 72 tackles, nine tackles for losses and 13 sacks last season. All-state in Class AAAA as a junior. Runs 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds. Considered the nation's top defensive tackle by one recruiting service. Noted for his quickness, long reach and smarts.
