Walton scored 49 in its season-opening victory, and topped 60 in winning Friday’s game against Brookwood.

The state’s fourth-ranked team in Class 7A scored touchdowns on six of its first seven possessions, led 35-0 at halftime and outscored the Broncos 28-8 in the third quarter to force a fourth-quarter running clock in its 63-15 victory.
