1. (1) Collins Hill (8-0)

Last week: Beat North Gwinnett 35-7. Sam Horn was 16-of-30 passing for 266 yards and four touchdowns. Top receivers were Cam Pedro (5-120-2) and Ethan Davis (5-100-1). Dion Crawford and Asani Redwood had two tackles for losses apiece. North Gwinnett’s touchdown ended Collins Hill’s streak of four shutouts. Next: Friday vs. Mountain View (3-4)

2. (2) Mill Creek (7-0)

Last week: Beat Mountain View 56-0. Donovan Journey rushed for 164 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries. Josh Anglin returned a fumble 85 yards for a touchdown. Next: Friday at Newton (4-2)

3. (3) North Cobb (6-1)

Last week: Beat Walton 51-29. Reggie Givhan’s 75-yard kickoff return gave North Cobb the lead for good, 21-14, late in the first half. Malachi Singleton was 11-of-14 passing for 175 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 89 yards and four touchdowns on 11 carries. Ben Hall rushed for 96 yards. North Cobb averaged 9.1 yards on 39 plays. Next: Friday vs. Hillgrove (1-6)

Last week: Beat Camden County 34-31. Neko Fann was 16-of-27 passing for 277 yards and three touchdowns, one a 10-yarder to Dextra Polite Jr. in the first overtime. Camden County had kicked a field goal on its possession. Charlie Pace rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown on 31 carries. Ny Carr had three receptions for 126 yards and two touchdowns. Last week: Lost to North Cobb 51-29. Walton scored on two drives of 14 or more plays in the first half, making the score 14-14, but a North Cobb kickoff return opened the floodgates to 23 unanswered points. Next: Friday at North Paulding (4-3)

7. (7) Lowndes (6-2)

Last week: Beat Tift County 26-7. Jacurri Brown was 14-of-19 passing for 263 yards and three touchdowns. Khris Thomas had six receptions for 111 yards. Chase Belcher had 126 yards from scrimmage on 10 touches and scored two touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Colquitt County (7-1)

Last week: Beat Houston County 29-9. Lee County dominated the second half after trailing 9-7. Ousmane Kromah ran for three touchdowns and caught a 77-yard TD pass. J.D. Last week: Lost to Cambridge 48-47. Tylan Johnson rushed for 155 yards on 33 carries. Kyle Durham was 14-of-24 passing for 362 yards and five touchdowns. Joshua Thompson had five receptions for 227 yards and four touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Centennial (1-6)

Last week: Beat Blessed Trinity 49-21. Amari White rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries and scored on a 32-yard reception. Jake Parker was 7-of-12 passing for 152 yards and three touchdowns. Cartersville led 35-7 at halftime. Next: Friday at Woodland-Cartersville (1-7)

2. (3) Creekside (6-1)

Last week: Beat Banneker 41-0. Nyqua Lett was 13-of-18 passing for 264 yards and two touchdowns. Javeon Miller had three sacks. Creekside held Banneker to 94 total yards and overcame three turnovers. Next: Friday vs. Mundy’s Mill (3-3)

3. (4) Woodward Academy (7-0)

Last week: Beat Drew 42-0. Damari Alston rushed for 170 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries. Jalen Woods was 8-of-9 passing for 195 yards and three touchdowns. Next: Thursday vs. Forest Park (2-4)

4. (5) Ware County (6-1)

Last week: Beat Warner Robins 29-21. Ware County led 22-0 lead after scoring touchdowns on a blocked punt and 80-yard pass and put the game away with a 12-play, 80-yard drive for a 29-7 lead early in the fourth quarter. Thomas Castellanos was 13-of-20 passing for 203 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 102 yards on 12 carries. Cartevious Norton rushed for 105 yards on 21 carries and had two receptions for 97 yards. The victory was Ware County’s first over a No. 1-ranked team since beating Northside of Warner Robins in 2012. Next: Oct. 29 at Veterans (2-5)

5. (1) Warner Robins (6-1)

Last week: Lost to Ware County 29-21. The Demons’ highlight was Christon Lane’s 59-yard TD pass to Daveon Walker on a hook-and-lateral play in the final minute of the first half to get the Demons within 22-7. On the opening drive of the second half, Warner Robins drove to Ware County’s 20 but turned the ball over on downs and never recovered. Malcolm Brown rushed for 112 yards on 25 carries. Lane passed for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Wayne County (0-7)

6. (6) Calhoun (7-1)

Last week: Beat Woodland-Cartersville 52-6. Christian Lewis was 3-for-3 passing for 97 yards and a touchdown, and Trey Townsend was 6-for-10 for 72 yards and two touchdowns. Caden Williams rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Cass (5-3)

Last week: Beat South Effingham 56-7. Benedictine scored on its first five possessions and scored on an interception return (46 yards by Justin Thomas) and a blocked punt return (5 yards by Thomas Blackshear). Next: Friday vs. New Hampstead (7-1)

Last week: Beat Troup 36-0. Jaiden Credle rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries and caught two passes for 94 yards and a touchdown. Credle went over 1,000 yads rushing for the season (1,179). Next: Thursday at Columbus (2-5)

Last week: Beat King’s Ridge Christian 31-7. Nick Persiano rushed for 114 yards. Fellowship led 14-7 at halftime and scored 17 unanswered points in the third quarter to break the game open. Next: Friday at Mount Pisgah Christian (4-3)

Shelley finished with 129 yards rushing and a touchdown on 17 carries and was 10-of-16 passing for 143 yards and a touchdown. He also caught a 52-yard TD pass. Chattahoochee County led only 14-0 at halftime but broke the game open with 21 points in the first four minutes of the second half on Eric Josey’s 51-yard TD pass to Naketa Ellington, Cody Duffy’s 19-yard TD pass to Jaylen Brown and Leonta Bell’s 42-yard fumble return for a touchdown.
