High school baseball

High school baseball doubleheaders continue at Fifth Third Field today.

• Newton vs. Covington in a Cross County Conference action, 4:30 p.m.

• Fairborn (9-7) vs. Beavercreek (11-2, won six straight) in a Greater Western Ohio Conference crossover play, 7 p.m.

This is part of a series of games hosted by the Dayton Dragons. Games are free to spectators and concessions benefit the schools.

After today, the series resumes May 3-6.
