The Georgia Tech’s women’s basketball team has had its next two games postponed because its opponents are in COVID-19 protocol, the ACC announced Tuesday.

No makeup dates have been set for the two games, at home against Syracuse on Thursday and at Virginia on Sunday.

The two games are the third and fourth that coach Nell Fortner’s team has had postponed this season. The Yellow Jackets did not play back-to-back games in December against Miami and Central Florida because of a positive COVID-19 test within the Tech team and subsequent quarantining and contact tracing.

Tech is 6-3 overall and 4-2 in the ACC. Barring additional schedule changes, the Jackets’ next game is Jan. 21 at Wake Forest.
