Georgia Tech’s 2024 recruiting class grew again Wednesday afternoon with a commitment from Landen Marshall.

Marshall, the second verbal commitment for Tech in as many days, is a 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive lineman out of Andalusia, Alabama. He’s considered a three-star prospect and reportedly holds scholarship offers from Tech, Miami (Fla.), Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon, Purdue and Texas, among others.

As a junior at Andalusia High, Marshall helped the Bulldogs win a Class 4A state championship with six tackles and half a sack in the title-game victory. Marshall finished the season with 34 stops, including 9-1/2 for a loss, and recovered a fumble.

Marshall took an official visit to Tech the first weekend of June. He is considered a top-40 prospect in Alabama according to the 247Sports Composite.

Tech now has eight verbal commitments toward the 2024 signing class which ranks 33rd nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite.
