Georgia Tech quarterback TaQuon Marshall receives Heisman vote for Tennessee performance

Georgia Tech quarterback TaQuon Marshall's 249 rushing yard, five rushing touchdown performance against No. 25 Tennessee earned him a Heisman Trophy vote this week.

Marshall received one fifth-place vote along with Ole Miss quarterback Shea Patterson.

Ten other quarterbacks receives Heisman votes including Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson— 38 votes— who won the Heisman in 2016.

The other nine quarterbacks to receive votes were UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen (45), Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield (40), Penn State running back Saquon Barkley (37), Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph (12), USC quarterback Sam Darnold (2), Ohio State running back J.K. Dobbins (1), LSU running back Derrius Guice (1), Alabama running back Damien Harris (1) and Missouri quarterback Drew Lock (1).
