Georgia Tech left handed pitcher Connor Thomas was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's Pitcher of the Month Tuesday for his performance during April.
During his four starts in the month of April, the 5-foot-11, 156 pound sophomore from Omega, Ga. recorded a 1.41 ERA and 43 strikeouts and allowed 22 hits and four walks.

Thomas, a native of Omega, Georgia, dominated on the bump for Georgia Tech during April, posting a 1.41 ERA in four starts, with a 2-0 mark. Thomas worked 32 innings, allowing only 22 hits and four walks, striking out 43 while holding opponents to a .195 average.
This season with the Yellow Jackets, Thomas holds a 5-3 record and has a 3.04 ERA in 13 games.
