The Knights of UCF did it. With a win in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Monday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, UCF finished the 2017 season 13-0. Just two years ago the Knights finished 2015, 0-12.

Head coach Scott Frost will now take over as head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, leaving UCF after two seasons, but completely transforming the program.

The Peach Bowl came down to the wire, with Auburn having a chance to tie the game in the final minute after UCF missed a 37-yard field goal that would have made it a 10-point game. The Knights led 34-27, and the Tigers were marching into UCF territory, getting down the the Knights 21-yard line.

With 24 ticks left in the game, the Knights brought the blitz forcing Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham to hoist a pass into the end zone. Waiting for it to come down was freshman defensive back Antwan Collier, who mad the interception and preserved the Knights perfect season.
