Despite throwing three picks in four pass attempts, Matt Ryan atoned for his mistakes in the fourth quarter when he threw the game-tying touchdown pass.

With the Falcons trailing the New Orleans Saints 17-10 on Thursday night at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Ryan led the Falcons on an 11-play, 69-yard drive that lasted seven minutes and six seconds.

He connected with wide receiver Mohamed Sanu on an 8-yard touchdown pass while facing a third-and-4. The Falcons tied the game at 17 with 10:01 remaining in regulation.
