Five games into the season, the Georgia Tech A-backs finally achieved a rushing touchdown.

On the Jackets’ second possession against the Miami Hurricanes at Hard Rock Stadium, A-back J.J. Green extended the football and just reached inside the pylon for a 6-yard touchdown. That put the Yellow Jackets up 7-3 with 4:27 left in the first quarter.

The Yellow Jackets benefited by a 48-yard run by Clinton Lynch, his longest rush of the season. Receiver Brad Stewart threw a nice comeback block on a Miami defender to spring Lynch for the long run.
