Here’s what Falcons cornerback Desmond Trufant had to say on Wednesday in advance of this weekend’s game at the Panthers:

On Carolina's offense: "They do a lot of things that mess with your rules. They get you going one way and they are going the other way. We just have to stay disciplined with our techniques and we'll be alright."

On the Kelvin Benjamin trade: "They have played a lot without him. They just plug guys in. So, regardless of who's out there, we have to do our job and play our technique. Just play with energy and play together."

On wide receiver Devin Funchess: "They definitely have bigger receivers. They use their bodies well. (Quarterback) Cam (Newton) throws the ball to only where they can get it because they are taller. They definitely have some good players. We have to do our thing and we'll be alright."

On the NFC South: "Every week is championship week, but the division is real important. That's the easiest way to get to the postseason. We are definitely focused. Division games are always tough. It's always a physical game. We're excited."

On wide receiver Curtis Samuel playing more: "Most likely, we'll see him a lot more. They will give him more touches. They'll probably use (Christian) McCaffrey more in the pass game as well. Whatever they do, we'll be ready. We'll be prepared. We just have to play our rules."
