Falcons’ linebacker Sean Weatherspoon continues to express how much he wants to continue playing in Atlanta.

Weatherspoon, one of several Falcons' unrestricted free agents, took a moment on Wednesday to post a picture of himself and Falcons' owner Arthur Blank at the Georgia Dome and express his love for Atlanta.

"I want to be here," Weatherspooon told Falcons' reporter D. Orlando Ledbetter in February. "Let that be known."

In October, Weatherspoon suffered a season-ending achilles injury against the Carolina Panthers. Weatherspoon told Ledbetter he is focused on his rehab and getting back to the field.

“I’m going to keep working,” Weatherspoon told Ledbetter. “I think the young guys are really ascending and you sprinkle in some veteran guys who can continue to help and play, too. My focus is getting back to that point where I can go out there and be me. ”

In six seasons — five with Atlanta — Weatherspoon racked of 328 combined tackles, eight sacks, 15 pass deflections and one touchdown.
