Falcons offensive guards Garrett Reynolds and Justin Blalock both will get a chance at Detroit defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

As the Falcons do with their defensive ends, the Lions move Suh around the interior.

Suh, the second pick of the 2010 draft, has brought some rowdiness and a belligerent attitude to the Lions’ defense.

As a rookie, he finished with 10 sacks and was chosen the defensive rookie of the year. He has two sacks this season. His 12 sacks since the start of the 2010 season are the most by a defensive tackle in the NFL.

Here’s Reynolds’ scouting report: “He’s technically sound. Has high motor. A great athlete. If he gets himself in a bad situation, he recovers well.”

After a rocky start to the season, the Falcons have allowed two sacks over the past three games.

“Usually when you have a rookie defensive lineman, you are saying he played a lot better than his numbers indicate, but Ndamukong is the guy that has the numbers to back it up,” Detroit coach Jim Schwartz said. “In so many respects, he acts and conducts himself and plays as if he’s a six-, seven- or eight-year veteran.”
