Snapp, a Pro Football Hall of Famer,  was arrested by police at a Phoenix hotel early Monday morning.

KNXV in Phoenix confirmed the reports with Maricopa County Sheriff's Office that Sapp was arrested and charged with soliciting prostitution among other charges.

The NFL Network sent Sapp to Phoenix to cover Sunday's Super Bowl XLIX according to KNXV.

Sports Illustrated reports Sapp played 13 seasons in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1995-2003) and Oakland Raiders (2004-07).  The defensive tackle was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.
