Offensive tackle Ty Sambrailo agreed to a three-year contact extension with the Falcons that is worth up to $18 million maximum, according to NFL Media.

Sambrailo agreed to the deal  with the team Tuesday. 

Sambrailo the primarily was the backup swing tackle last season, but ended up taking over at right tackle for Ryan Schraeder down the stretch.

He’s now viewed as the starting right tackle by the team, according to NFL Media.

He played in all 16 games and made four starts last season.

Sambrailo made $959,448 last season and $784,632 in 2017.
