Dallas owner Jerry Jones has accused Falcons owner Arthur Blank of misleading the compensation regarding the negotiations for commissioner Roger Goodell's new five-year contract, according to Chris Mortensen of ESPN.com, who has obtained a letter from Dallas' general counsel.

The Falcons referred all questions about the matter to league spokesman Joe Lockhart.

Blank is the chairman of the league’s compensation committee. Jones contends that Blank has ‘misled’ the owners regarding “critical facts” about the negotiations.

Coincidentally, the Cowboys play the Falcons at 4:25 p.m. Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
