Falcons coach Dan Quinn said Monday he plans to support his players if they kneel during the national anthem or choose to protest social justice and police brutality in another manner during the coming season.

“If and when the players choose to protest, in whatever way they choose, then like, hell yeah, I’ll support them in whatever they chose to do,” Quinn said. “Let’s get that out first.”

Quinn recently participated in the “Buckhead4BlackLives” protest march to the Governor’s Mansion on June 7.

“What you can’t see or feel on TV is that passion,” Quinn said of the march.
