Falcons coach Dan Quinn and general manager Thomas Dimitroff meet with Atlanta media on Thursday to address several issues, including the firing of all three coordinators and tight end coach Wade Harman.

Here are 10 observations we learned during the nearly 45 minute session:

1. Julio Jones' deal. "We'll take care of that business," Dimitroff said about Jones' extension.

2. Low point of the season: After getting to 4-4, Quinn thought they were to take off. After the five-game losing streak he knew they were facing major changes.

3. Jarrett's deal. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett talks have resumed. Team is looking forward to doing a deal with CAA.

4. Clock management: With Quinn calling the defense, he said he will look to add clock management role to another assistant.

5. Calling the defense. Quinn said he likes calling the defense. He considered moving Raheem Morris into the position.

6. Scouting department. Scouting department will stay in tact.

7. Return game. They believe they can be better in the return game.

8. Injured reserves. They already know what the guys can do.

9. Bruce Irvin. Quinn spoke highly of linebacker/defensive end Bruce Irvin and respects how hard he played. He sounded non-committal on his return

10.  Vic Beasley. "He could still get better," Quinn said. They sounded a little iffy on Beasley.
