A pro-marijuana group in Pittsburgh said it will stop using a logo that looks similar to that of the Steelers.

The NFL sent a cease and desist order to Pittsburgh NORML, a local chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, which recreated the Steelers logo using red, yellow and blue marijuana leaves.

Pittsburgh NORML told the NFL it will comply, despite believing that it was a “fair use.”

“We believe that our use of the hypocycloid was a ‘fair use’ under existing intellectual property law and that there is little, if any, potential for confusion considering the fact that two of the Steeler starting players were suspended for cannabis related matters to start the season,” a letter sent to the NFL by an attorney for Pittsburgh NORML stated.
