Falcons safeties Keanu Neal (knee) and Ricardo Allen (Achilles) are on pace to fully return to practice by the start of training camp in mid-July.

Neal was injured last year in the season opener against the Eagles, and Allen went down two games later against the New Orleans Saints.

“Keke and Rico both are really pushing it,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said Saturday. “From a rehab, competitive side. Big shocker. Two of our most competitive guys. They are really determined, detailed, and they are off to excellent starts with their process.”

Neal has posted videos of his workouts and was seen lifting weights doing the early portion of the offseason program.

“That would be the goal, to be fully functioning by (training camp),” Quinn said. “If they continue to hit the markers that they are, that would be more than realistic.”
