What to know: Along with Georgia Tech, Kerr had 10 total offers including Central Michigan and Kennesaw State. Kerr was signee 16 on National Signing Day. He was the last player offered in the class.

Linebackers coach Andy McCollum on a rival team's assessment of him: "Their head coach and their coordinator says, 'Coach, are y'all looking at No. 20 at McEachern?' I said, 'Yeah.' They said, 'Well, we're going to tell you this. He's the best player on their defense.'"

McCollum on him being the last player offered: "He's going to be one of those guys that might not have been talked about as much, but we've had a few of them these last few years that ended up being the guy."

McCollum's evaluation: "Ajani's got great work ethic and he's got great skill, so we're looking forward to getting Ajani here."
