The Atlanta Falcons may have suffered an epic loss in the Super Bowl and the team lost its offensive coordinator, but Matt Ryan will not be deterred.

In a message to fans on Instagram, the Falcons quarterback expresses gratitude for the support and encouragement about the future.

He writes:

“We came up short last night and my heart hurts for you Atlanta. Hats off to New England they played a heck of a game. We will adapt, we will over come, we will #RiseUp again.”

The 2016 regular season was still historic for the Falcons franchise. Rise up and celebrate the Dirty Birds.
