"To be honest with you, I would be a liar if I didn't tell you that I was expecting the ball," Lynch said. "Yes, I was expecting the ball. But you know after it didn’t happen -- like I told a reporter after the game, it's a team sport. I had no problem with the decision of the playcalling."

Lynch continued: "I don't know what went into that call. I mean, maybe it was a good thing that I didn't get the ball. I mean, you know, it cost us the Super Bowl. I mean, I have full ... I have full confidence in my teammates to execute that plan because we've done it so many more times. But would I love to had the ball in? Yes, I would have.”

"But the game is over. I’m in Turkey," Lynch said, inspiring laughter.

Lynch is notoriously uninterested in speaking with media -- so when he does, people pay attention. In January, he explained his preferred silence.

"I don't know what image y'all trying to portray of me but ... It don't matter what y'all think, what y'all say about me became when I go home at night, the same people that I look in the face -- my family -- that I love ... that's all that matters to me," he said.

Lynch makes the comments about 21 minutes into the YouTube video.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
