While the rest of the team was practicing inside, Falcons kicker Matt Bryant was outside getting his field-goal kicking practice started Wednesday.

“Matt Bryant will kick on Wednesdays and Fridays for the first part of the year,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said. “That’s kind of been his routine. Then, later on in the year, we’ll move back to once a week. Usually, we just start at the extra point and start moving our way back.”

Bryant, who’s set to enter his 18th season in the NFL, was re-signed Monday after his potential replacement Giorgio Tavecchio was released.
