The Falcons said wide receiver Julio Jones participated in Wednesday's light practice on a limited basis before the team traveled to New Orleans. Coach Dan Quinn said Jones needed time to get in sync with quarterback Matt Ryan.
Jones was limited by a sore hamstring during Sunday’s victory against the Redskins. He’s had extensive therapy for the hamstring since then, including ice and electric stimulation, but said he’s mostly been resting.
The Falcons face the Saints Thursday at 8:25 p.m. in New Orleans.
