Falcons star wide receiver Julio Jones left Sunday’s game for a few plays because of a bruised right knee. He’s also been limited in practice during a short week of preparation for Thursday night’s game at the Buccaneers.
But Jones said he’s not worried about the injury.
“No concerns,” Jones said Tuesday. “It was just (hurting) in-game, and it wears off. It’s just a little pain, but it’s gone. I’m good. I’m 100 percent. There’s no need to even talk about it. There’s nothing going to hold me back.”
Jones played 53 offensive snaps (84 percent) against the Packers and finished with three catches for 29 yards. For the season Jones ranks second in the NFL in receiving yards (859) and leads the league with 21 receptions for 20 yards or more.
