Falcons left guard Andy Levitre’s streak of 140 straight starts will be snapped tonight.

He was officially declared out of the game on Wednesday and was on the list of inactives for tonight’s game against the Saints at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Ben Garland, 29, will make his first NFL start at left guard for the Falcons.

In addition to Levitre, the Falcons named Nick Williams, cornerback Leon McFadden, linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, guard Sean Harlow, tight end Eric Saubert and cornerback C.J. Goodwin as inactive.

The Saints inactives include: safety Rafael Bush, running back Jonathan Williams, tight end Garrett Griffin, center Cameron Tom, tackle Andrus Peat, wide receiver Austin Carr and defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad.
