Falcons offensive lineman Justin McCray is a stronger interior blocker at guard and than when he’s played at tackle, according to his profootballfocus.com grades from 2017 to 2019.

With the departures of backup swing tackle Ty Sambrailo and backup guard/center Wes Schweitzer the Falcons have openings at two key spots and will have an open competition at left guard:

Here are McCray’s PFF grades:

2019: 50.8 Grade (82/88 OTs min 250 snaps)

2018: 64.0 Grade (36/86 Gs min 275 snaps)

2017: 53.1 Grade (77/86 OTs min 270 snaps)
