Former Steelers wide receiver Antwaan Randle El recently expressed regrets about ever playing football, according to an article citing a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report.

Randle El, 36, mentioned in the report that if he had the chance to do it all over again, he would play baseball instead of football. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 1997.

He said if he had chosen baseball as a profession, he could still be playing.

According to the report, Randle El says he struggles with memory loss and has trouble walking down stairs.

"I wouldn't be surprised if football isn't around in 20, 25 years," Randle El said.
