The 48-year-old Dane scored 2,437 points during his 25-year career and played for the Atlanta Falcons the past two seasons. Andersen is perhaps best known for his game-winning 38- yard field goal to beat the Minnesota Vikings 30-27 in overtime for the NFC championship and a trip to the Super Bowl.
