Former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray will join former Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight as tryout players during the Chicago Bears three-day rookie mini-camp that runs through the weekend.

Murray and Knight will be two of a reported 43 tryout players who will join the Bears’ draft picks and undrafted rookie free agents through the workout period.

Murray, who threw for 13,166 yards passing at Georgia from 2010-13, was a fifth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2014 NFL Draft. He was released by the Chiefs prior to the 2016 season, and attempted to join the Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles. He last worked out with the Los Angeles Rams during the 2017 offseason.

Murray joined the CBS Sports Network as an in-game analyst, covering college football games last fall.

Mitchell Trubisky, who was selected at No. 2 overall out of North Carolina in the 2017 NFL Draft, is slated to be the starting quarterback for the Bears this season.
