Here are five things to know about the Falcons on Wednesday:

1. Hometown Huddle. The Falcons spent part of their off day doing community service around the city.

2. Practice squad move. The Falcons signed defensive tackle Taniela Tupou to the practice squad and waived running back Jhurrell Pressley on Tuesday.

3. Practice. The Falcons will practice at 2:20 p.m. Quarterback Matt Ryan and defensive coordinator Marquand Manuel will speak to the media after practice.

4. Coach Jim Caldwell. For some bizarre reason, NFL teams are not providing players to the out of town media for a conference calls this season. We will speak with Detroit coach Jim Caldwell around 12 noon.

5. Takk is back. Falcons rookie defensive end Takkarist McKinley saw serious time in Sunday's 34-23 win over the Packers and while perhaps feeling good about his expanded role, he ended his social media sabbatical on Monday night just two weeks after his self-imposed ban.
