5 quick takes from Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett

Falcons Pro Bowl defensive tackle Grady Jarrett met with the local media via Microsoft Teams on Thursday.

Here are five quick takes from the call:

1. Takk Attack. Jarrett believes things will work out for defensive end Takk McKinley after the team declined to pick up his fifth-year $10 million option. "He's been working hard to get healthy so that he can put his best foot forward," Jarrett said.

2. Bike pants. Jarrett said he's been riding his Peloton bike and chatting with Falcons defensive end Allen Bailey while on the bike. He's not a big fan of bike pants and prefers to put a towel on the seat for comfort.

3. Community service. Jarrett outlined his community-service efforts, which have included helping to feed first-responders in Rockdale County.

4. Chef Grady. Jarrett plans to do an Instagram story on the items he's been cooking. He's a big fan of Sea Bass right now.

5. Clemson connection. Jarrett said he has not interacted with Falcons first-round pick A.J. Terrell, who also played at Clemson, but he has seen him play. "I'm excited to see him be a professional," Jarrett said.
