Falcons release Reedy, re-sign Lefeld
Offensive lineman Eric Lefeld was re-signed and wide receiver Bernard Reedy was waived by the Falcons on Wednesday.
Lefeld had been with the team for most of training camp. He was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent of Cincinnati in 2015.
Reedy was signed by the Falcons as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Toledo after the 2014 draft. He spent last season on the team’s practice squad.
The Falcons wanted to make sure they had enough lineman for the final exhibition game.
