The Falcons promoted linebacker Richard Jarvis to the active roster and reached an injury settlement with linebacker Corey Nelson on Saturday.

The move comes ahead of Sunday’s NFC South game against the Saints Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Jarvis, an undrafted free agent from Brown University, made the active roster following preseason, where he had seven tackles and two sacks. He was signed to the practice squad earlier this month.

Nelson spent the past four seasons with the Broncos and was with the Eagles during the preseason. The former seventh-round draft pick in 2014 appeared in 53 career games with 95 tackles and one sack.
