Falcons injury report: Beasley, Ward, Schraeder and Upshaw out for Lions’ game

Falcons reserve running back Terron Ward, a key special-teams player, suffered a neck and shoulder injury and was limited in practice Thursday before being declared out of Sunday’s game, according to the team’s official injury report.

Ward, linebacker/defensive end Vic Beasley (hamstring), right tackle Ryan Schraeder (concussion) and defensive tackle Courtney Upshaw (ankle) did not practice Friday.

Running back Brian Hill (ankle) fully participated and could see his first active duty with Ward out.
