FLOWERY BRANCH – The Falcons have $5,020,893 million left under the salary cap, according to the NFLPA salary cap report.

That’s about enough left for the five-member rookie class.

The Falcons had a carryover of $3.9 million and have a cap number of $153.78 million, according to the NFLPA report.

The Falcons will carry $18.8 million is dead money under the cap in 2016. That’s money that was spent on former players who are no longer with the team like Sam Baker ($6.4 million), Jon Asamoah ($3.9 million), Roddy White ($3.7 million) and William Moore ($3.3 million).
