The Atlanta Falcons hold eight draft picks in the 2015 NFL Draft - April 30 to May 2 in Chicago - to start the Dan Quinn era and rebuild their roster. Here is the Falcons draft order and a look at the players the Falcons have previously selected in that spot:

First round, 8th pick (8th overall): In 2007, the Falcons selected Arkansas defensive end Jamaal Anderson with the 8th overall pick. The Falcons release Anderson after the 2010 season, having amassed 83 tackles, 2 sacks in 60 games over four seasons. Other notable players drafted 8th overall by the Falcons: cornerback DeAngelo Hall (2004) and tackle Bob Whitfield (1992). (Curtis Compton / AJC File)

Second round, 10th pick (42nd overall): With the 42nd-overall pick in 1999, the Falcons selected tight end Reggie Kelly out of Mississippi State. Kelly played five years in Atlanta, making 70 catches for 797 yards and 2 touchdowns. Also selected 42nd overall by the Falcons was defensive tackle Rosie Manning (1972). (John Glenn / AJC File)

Third round, 9th pick (73rd overall): In 1992, the Falcons selected Florida State linebacker Howard Dinkins in the third round. He played just thee games over two seasons with the Falcons. (Charles Kelly / Associated Press)

Fifth round, 10th pick (146th overall): Under coach Leeman Bennett the Falcons selected defensive back Mike Davis of Colorado. In 1972, the Falcons picked wide receiver Fred Riley of Idaho with the 146th overall pick. Neither made the roster. (G.H. Clark / AJC File)

Sixth round, 9th pick (185th overall): With the 185th-overall pick in 2007, the Falcons selected cornerback David Irons out of Auburn. He played in 20 games over two seasons in Atlanta. Seventh round, 8th pick (225th overall): Under coach and general manager Norm Van Brocklin, the Falcons selected defensive tackle Larry Bailey, of Pacific, with the 225th overall pick in 1974. Bailey appeared in just one game with Atlanta. (Bob Verlin / Getty Images)

Seventh round, 32nd pick (249th overall) from New England through St. Louis: The Falcons have made to recent picks with the 249th selection: defensive tackle Travian Robertson (South Carolina) in 2012 and quarterback Sean Renfree (Duke) in 2013. Robertson started in 1 game, but spent most of his 3 years in Atlanta on the practice squad. Renfree has been Matt Ryan's second backup the last two seasons.
