Falcon gets own day for charity work

Atlanta Falcon defensive tackle  Jonathan Babineaux is being honored next Monday by the City Council for his  personal contributions to 51 Atlanta charities and non-profit organizations, free football camps and substantial volunteer work in Atlanta and hometown of Port Arthur, Texas.

Councilman Michael Julian Bond and the council are to proclaim June 20, 2011 as “Jonathan Babineaux Day” at the council meeting that day.
