Early line favors Falcons by four points over Packers

The Falcons are a four-point betting favorites over the Packers in early betting for the NFC championship game on Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

According to ESPN gambling writer Dave Tuley, the Westgate Las Vegas sportsbook opened the line with the Falcons favored by four points before quickly moving it to five and then back to four. The Falcons beat the Packers 33-32 on Oct. 30 at the Georgia Dome.

The Falcons had a bye for the wild-card round of the playoffs and advanced to the conference championship game by beating the Seahawks 36-20 on Saturday at the Georgia Dome. The Packers beat the Giants 38-13 in the wild-card round and won 34-31 at top-seeded Dallas on Sunday when Rodgers led a six-play, 46-yard drive ended with Mason Cosby’s 51-yard field goal as time expired.
