Falcons coach Dan Quinn said Devonta Freeman has been cleared by the league-mandated concussion protocol and is expected to play on Sunday at the Buccaneers.
“Limited contact, for sure, but he’s fully ready to play,” Quinn said today. “He is absolutely jacked. For those of us that know Devonta, it jumps off the field and the tape how much he loves football so we can’t wait for him to get out there.”
Freeman left the game against the Colts in Week 10 and didn’t play on Sunday against the Vikings. Freeman leads the Falcons with 764 rushing yards on 167 attempts.
