Deserving of being a Hall of Famer?

Which Atlanta sports greats should be Hall of Famers?

Check out some of the best players in Atlanta sports history, none of which are in their sport's Hall of Fame -- at least yet -- and cast your vote on whether they should be hall of famers. First up is former Falcons defensive end Claude Humphrey (showing a wall crowded with awards in his Bartlett, Tenn. home). He played in six Pro Bowls.

Jeff Van Note played his entire 18-year career in a Falcons uniform.

Cornerback Deion "Prime Time" Sanders played for the Falcons and Braves.

Steve Bartkowski had over 24,000 yards passing in his career.

Offensive lineman Mike Kenn played 17 reasons in the NFL, all with the Falcons.

Falcons linebacker Tommy Nobis played in five Pro Bowls and is known as "Mr. Falcon."

William Andrews had 1,567 yards rushing and 609 yards receiving in 1983, a rare 2,000-yard season.

Gerald Riggs is the Falcons' all-time rushing leader. His best season was in 1985, when he rushed for 1,719 yards and caught 33 passes.

Morten Andersen is one of the NFL's greatest kickers.

Dale Murphy hit 398 career homers and earned two MVP awards.

Bobby Cox managed the Braves for 25 seasons and has more than 2,500 career victories as a major league manager.

Tom Glavine has 305 victories.

John Smoltz has 213 wins, 154 saves, and 3,084 strikeouts.

Braves star Chipper Jones has more than 400 homers and a lifetime batting average above .300.

Greg Maddux (right) has 352 career victories.

Andruw Jones (shown in 1996) struggled in his last season with the Braves but has been one of baseball's greatest center fielders in his career. He also has more than 400 homers.

Lou Hudson (right, with current team part owner Michael Gearon, Jr., when Gearon was a child), averaged more than 20 points per game in seven of his nine seasons in Atlanta, peaking with a 27.1 per game average in 1972-73.

Power forward Dan Roundfield had double figure averages in points and rebounds for the Hawks in five seasons. He averaged 19 points per game in 1982-83.
