Here's what Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had to say about the New York Jets:

On the Jets' defense. "I think they are solid. When you look at what they've done as a front seven against the run game, they are extremely effective against the run. I think they do a nice job of creating pass-rush with multiple and different packages. They've got some good young players in the secondary. I think their safeties are young and talented. I think they are improving. To me, it's a really good defense."

On rookie strong safety Jamal Adams. "Talented. Good speed. Physical. I think improving. That's one of the things when you turn on the tape from Week 1 to where we are at this point in the season, I think there's improvement and comfort within the scheme. I've been impressed."

On Muhammad Wilkerson and Leonard Williams up front. "They are both great players. Extremely physical. Both are good against the run and the past. They are extremely talented. We've got to do a good job up front. That's first and foremost every week, winning the line of scrimmage and I think our guys will be up to it the challenge."

On the linebackers. "They are good to me. They are athletic. When you see their scheme, the 3-4 scheme, you have bigger downhill guys, but their guys are athletic and can move side to side and are physical. I've been impressed with their entire linebacking corps."
